Monaco Growth Forums on the Rise: CEO Andreea Porcelli Envisions Worldwide Event after Hosting a Successful Fourth Edition

 In SCN Blog

Before starting the Monaco Growth Forums (MGF), CEO Andreea Porcelli had spent 20 years taking companies all around Europe on investor roadshows. Thanks to its convenient location and its multicultural population, Monaco had always had a prime spot on these trips.

When Porcelli decided it was time to bring together all the investors and companies she knew around the world in one place, the ideal location seemed evident, and the Monaco Growth Forums were born.

Over the years, MGF has acquired a loyal following of investors and continues to attract newly interested parties each time a conference is held. In an interview with Small Cap Nation, Porcelli gladly announced that the investors were very satisfied with the quality of the companies at the fourth edition of the Forums. Ranging from biomedical, social impact, to fin-tech companies, the conference not only hosts firms from diverse industry sectors, but also features a different socially-responsible theme each time it is held.

The idea behind the Forums is to create a non-investment banking environment, providing a showcase for exciting new companies, without promoting or representing any firm directly. In order to do host the conference MGF relies on sponsors such as the boutique beverage companies Cascina Ballarin and The Vault Spirits Company. Looking forward, Porcelli stated, “I would like to see this become a worldwide event”, and indicated that the next edition of MGF will seek to take a step in that direction.
